Logistics for the Chemical Industry

Always reacting correctly: In 2007 LOXX introduced its competence team for “chemistry” in order to quickly and competently meet the special demands connected with transporting goods for the chemical industry.

Today they are nine team members who undergo regular training on the safety instructions and other requirements of transporting hazardous goods.

Since the handling of sensitive goods requires customers to be able to rely on the logistic service provider, every customer from the chemical industry for all deliveries in the whole of Europe has access to ONE particular contact person to help with regard to any issues.

Our qualified “chemistry” competence team takes on the organisation of the following:

  • secure transport of all hazardous goods, with the exception of hazard class 1  and 7, for all  shipment sizes, from general cargo and part loads to full loads
  • takeover of HCDG goods according to 1.10 ADR following the creation of  security plans according to 1.10.3 ADR
  • temperature controlled transports of hazardous goods for sensitive chemical goods – also for general cargo shipments
  • continuous exchange of information with customers regarding their  shipments and even the delivery status of individual shipments from the whole  of Europe

What is more, every other of our employees also successfully completed external training in hazardous goods for warehouse logistics and the other operative commercial areas. In this way LOXX reaches a training quota of 51 % for the handling of hazardous goods in the operative departments.

LOXX is a member of the ChemieLogistik NRW industry circle and therefore works on optimising the processes along the supply chain for the chemical industry together with the industry’s leading companies.
